Addition can be performed by adding the digits at ones place and at tens place to get the desired result.
For example let us solve the question
While performing the addition we will add the digits at tens place and the digits at ones place as follows
The sum of digit at ones place
4 + 2 = 6
So there are 6 ones
The sum of digit at tens place
6 + 1 = 7
So there are 7 tens
The result is shown in the figure below
Hence the answer is 76
